Are All Personal Injury Lawyers the Same
Imagine that you had a broken arm and a friend referred you to a psychiatrist for treatment.
That’s what it’s like when people suggest that all attorneys are the same. Like doctors, all attorneys have to complete basic coursework and pass an intensive exam that allows them to work in the field. From there, though, everyone chooses a focus. A psychiatrist may know how to splint your broken arm as well as a Boy Scout could, but he or she isn’t going to know how to handle all the care necessary to ensure that everything comes out okay.
Are All Personal Injury Attorneys the Same?
All personal injury lawyers you’ll find have a license to practice in the state of New York. That’s where the similarities end.
So what’s different?
As it turns out, a lot.
- Every lawyer has a different level of experience. That’s not to say that an attorney fresh out of law school couldn’t represent you well. However, a lack of experience may lead to you getting less than you deserve – and nobody wants that (not even a brand-new lawyer!).
- Some lawyers are better about communicating with their clients than others are. Some personal injury lawyers don’t communicate at all, and you’ll constantly be playing phone tag or sending email after email just to get an answer to a simple question.
- Some personal injury attorneys don’t care much about their clients. These lawyers, while they’re not extremely common, still exist. What do they really care about? Their bank accounts.
Why Greenstein & Milbauer is Different
We don’t assign all the work on your case to someone you don’t know. We do it ourselves. In fact, your case will be assigned to a named partner, and that’s who will represent you and your best interests. You don’t have to worry about checking back for updates, because when there’s a new development, we’ll go out of our way to call you – you don’t have to chase us down for answers.
We don’t see our clients as file numbers. You’re a person, and we understand that. We also understand that you deserve compensation to cover your lost wages, medical bills and other expenses, and we will work hard to ensure that you get the best possible outcome.
Not all personal injury lawyers are created equal, and you deserve to work with a firm that puts you first.
