Francis Capellupo
Father Francis Capellupo was ordained in 1975 and served twenty-six years in the Diocese of Brooklyn before he was removed in 2001 for credible allegations of sexual abuse that were brought against him. He was dismissed from the clerical state in 2012 and died in 2017.
His assignments while serving as a priest included Fourteen Holy Martyrs; St. Leonard; St. Michael, Brooklyn; Independence House; Our Lady of Lourdes, BK; Kingsboro Psychiatric Center; Most Precious Blood, Long Island City; and Our Lady of Lourdes, BK.
