George Voiland
The Brooklyn Diocese has included diocesan clergy member George Voiland in a recently released list of priests who have been credibly accused of sexual abuse during their tenures. Ordained on June 3, 1950, Voiland’s assignments included:
- St. Edmund, BK
- Cathedral College, Douglaston
- Our Lady of Solace, BK
- Corpus Christi, Woodside
- St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr, BK
- St. Mary Star of the Sea, BK
- Most Precious Blood, Long Island City
- Immaculate Conception Center, Douglaston
Voiland was permanently removed from ministry on June 18, 2004 and died on December 4, 2012.
