John A. Thompson

Fr. John A. Thompson’s name was included in a list of more than 100 Diocese of Brooklyn clergy members who have been credibly accused of sexual abuse. He was ordained in March of 1979 and laicized in October of 2009.

Thompson was assigned to St. Matthew; Visitation B.V.M.; BVM Help of Christians; Holy Name; Msgr. McClancy HS; St. Michael Archangel & St. Edward the Confessor, BK; St. Elizabeth, Ozone Park; and St. Gertrude.
