John Bals

Father John Bals, once a member of the Diocese of Brooklyn, was listed as one of the priests with credible allegations of sexual abuse against them. Bals was ordained in 1959 and laicized in 1973. He died in 1995.

His assignments included Our Lady of Lourdes, Queens Village; Cathedral College; Christ the King High School; St. Thomas More/St. Edmund, Breezy Point; and Our Lady of the Cenacle, Richmond Hill.
