Nicholas J. Capua

Father Nicholas J. Capua served fifty-one years in the Diocese of Brooklyn. He was ordained in 1956 and was removed from ministry in 2007 after credible allegations of sexual abuse were brought against him. He died in 2010.

His assignments while serving in the ministry included St. Alphonsus; St. Bernadette; St. Thomas Aquinas, Fourth Avenue; and St. Luke, Whitestone.
