After being ordained in the Diocese of Brooklyn in 1960, Father Robert Guiry left the priesthood in 1991. Along with over one hundred other priests in the diocese, he has been credibly accused of being a sexual abuser. He was officially dismissed from the clerical state in 2006.
His assignments during his ministry included Queen of All Saints; St. Raphael, Long Island City; St. Thomas the Apostle, Woodhaven; St. John’s Professor; and Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Richmond Hill.
