Rocco Verrengio

The Diocese of Brooklyn named Fr. Rocco Verrengio and more than 100 other clergy members in a list of those who had been credibly accused of sex abuse. Verrengio was ordained in May of 1970 and died in July of 2012.

His assignments included the following: St. Rita, LIC; St. Margaret, Middle Village; St. Mary Star of the Sea, Far Rockaway; St. Rita, Brooklyn; St. John the Evangelist; St. Mary Star of the Sea, BK; St. Frances de Chantal; St. Stanislaus Kostka, Queens; St. Joan of Arc, Jackson Heights; Bishop Ford HS; St. Lucy-St. Patrick, BK; and Holy Rosary, Brooklyn.
