John R. Dwyer

Father John R. Dwyer was permanently removed from ministry in the Diocese of Brooklyn in 2002 after credible allegations of sexual abuse were made against him. He was ordained in 1967.

His assignments during his priesthood included Bishop McDonnell Camp Chaplain; St. Gregory, Bellerose; St. James Pro-Cathedral; Cathedral Prep, Elmhurst; St. Vincent de Paul; St. Martin of Tours; Diocese of Venice, Florida; Our Lady of the Angelus, Rego Park; Queen of Angels, Sunnyside; and Saints Peter and Paul.
